Romeo
and Juliet is a tragedy written early in the career of
playwright William Shakespeare about two
young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately unite their feuding
families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and,
along with Hamlet, is one of his most frequently performed plays.
Today, the title characters are regarded as archetypal young
lovers.
Romeo and
Juliet borrows from a tradition of tragic love stories dating back to
antiquity. One of these is Pyramus and Thisbe,
from Ovid's Metamorphoses, which contains parallels to Shakespeare's
story: the lovers' parents despise each other, and Pyramus falsely believes his
lover Thisbe is dead. The Ephesiaca of Xenophon of Ephesus, written in the 3rd century, also
contains several similarities to the play, including the separation of the
lovers, and a potion that induces a deathlike sleep.
If I were to right or
to choose what will be the ending of this story, It will be something
miraculous or something impossible. It will be like this. When Juliet kiss
Romeo, the poison will disappear or will removed and they will have a Happy
Family and they will live Happily Ever After so that it's ending will be not
tragic. It will also be more wonderful if every story will have happy Endings.
Every each and everyone of us have different choices in choosing or having different ending of our stories.
